Contribution guide
Thank you for the interest in joining our community and building plaits together. There are many ways in which you can contribute, ranging from sharing your thoughts, helping with the design or code, to even simply just hanging out.
Conduct Norms
In order for plaits to be a community software project, it needs to provide safe space for collaboration. This can only happen if every member of the community contributes toward the wellbeing of all members of the community. The community environment in which one can freely contribute and learn has to be the one that allows one to feel safe to take emotional risks.
The diverse and inclusive community can only be achieved through empathy. We ask you to empathise, to try to understand, show compassion, kindness and respect. We are aware that it is impossible to live through someone elses experiences, but that does not absolve one from just simply listening.
In order to keep the community tolerant, we do not tolerate the intolerance.
Ground rules
-
You are not welcome in the community, and we are not interested in any type of contribution from you if you are or identify yourself with one or more of the following: fascist, transphobe, homophobe, supremacist, misogynist, patriarchist, racist, capitalist, harraser, abuser of any kind. This list is not exhaustive. Just move on.

We do not accept any contributions (code, writings, designs, etc.) created with the aid of so called "AI" technology. As you can see in Community Principles we mention people a plethora of times. We want to work with people who also care about what we do, and celebrate the uniquely human. This is as polite as we can make it, because even just the fact that we have to write this rule is infuriating. No, there are no "buts". Yes, we will enjoy being left behind, just please go already.
